Murinho Is In Trouble As Chelsea’s Performance Goes Downhill

Last Saturday, Chelsea lost once again against Everton 3-1, which means one victory, one draw, and three losses out of five games so far.

With Man City 1-0 against Crystal Palace, Manuel Pellegrini’s team opens up 11 points over the champion Chelsea. From all observers, the Blues have not been doing well since the kick off. This could make their road ahead very difficult as every team could see in them a weak contender to be easily challenged.

On his side, Jose Murinho as usual remains confident and defiant. He believes that his team will regain its well-known performance and eventually catch up. But that is not the way champions start a competition, especially in Premier League, where surprises are expected all the time as the competition goes on. By all accounts, it is going to be difficult for Chelsea to lose or draw the next two games and to consider themselves real title contenders.
